Cookie Policy

Last updated: 16 May 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how StockHaven uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on stockhaven.co.uk. It is governed by the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and, where personal data is involved, by UK GDPR. Please read this policy alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit. Cookies allow the site to remember information about your visit — for example, whether you are logged in — and are widely used to make websites work correctly or more efficiently.

Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, may be used for the same purposes. References to “cookies” in this policy include these technologies.

2. Cookies we use

We use a small number of cookies, organised into two categories:

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the Service to function. Without them you cannot log in or use the application. Under PECR Regulation 6(4) these cookies do not require your consent.

Analytics cookies

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our marketing pages. Vercel Analytics is designed to be privacy-friendly: it does not set persistent third-party cookies, does not collect personally identifiable information, and does not build profiles of individual users. The data collected is aggregated and anonymised.

Cookie / technologyPurposeDuration
va_* (Vercel Analytics)Anonymised page-view counter and Web Vitals measurement. No personally identifiable information is stored.Up to 1 year

Because Vercel Analytics does not collect personal data, it does not require consent under PECR. We include it here for full transparency.

3. Cookies we do not use

We do not use:

  • Third-party advertising or tracking cookies
  • Social media tracking pixels
  • Cross-site behavioural profiling technologies
  • Fingerprinting techniques to identify individual users

4. Managing and deleting cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in to StockHaven.

You can also opt out of Vercel Analytics by enabling a “Do Not Track” signal in your browser — Vercel Analytics respects this signal and will not record your visits.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as we add or remove technologies. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email or an in-app notice.

6. Contact us
